'I produce digital prints that are made with the use of a computer and high grade ink-jet printer; the digital prints start as a sheet of blank electronic "paper" and are "drawn" or "painted" using an electronic pen. I spend considerable time ensuring that the colours are as accurate as possible and the materials are of good quality: I use acid free ink-jet paper and Lyson 'Photochrome' inks that have good light-fastness so purchasers can buy with confidence. As with any painting or print, these should not be hung in direct sunlight.'

'I call these "digital prints" and not "gicleés" which is a term I object to (apart from its vulgarity) as all it means today is a supposedly high quality ink-jet print but with a shroud of mystery seemingly aimed at overcharging the public.'
